Five days, surgery on my neck. They wanted me to stay longer, but I wanted to get out of there.

I have never spent a night in the hospital, other than being born.
Plemty of outpatient procedures though. Dawn til dusk, but not overnight.

Ditto, except for a couple days after when they had to watch me, and my mother was in heavy recovery after her botched C-section by that moronic doctor that about killed her.

I have occupied a hospital bed several times but only 2 to 3 days at a stretch.
Tonsils in Mississippi Hospital

When I was born, I was in the hospital abotu a week. I was a bit jaundiced but that was also the standard stay for newborns.

Not very long - especially compared to Hyacinth Girl! ....About two years ago I went in the hospital in the morning and went home around 4 p.m. or so. I had to have surgery on my breast, as there a tumor in the right one. I had a master surgeon, though, the next day when I woke up I was only a little bit sore and felt pretty good. I didn't need all those Tylenol 3's they gave me for the pain, but I'm saving them in my room - just in case.
