    Question...

    If someone were caring for a loved one whose medical, school, general living expenses, whatever bills were high, and they resorted to prostitution, would you look down on them for making that choice?

    NO I'm not talking about myself!!! laughing I was just thinking about a movie I saw not too long ago where a woman had to resort to accepting a wealthy mans one time sex proposition to help pay her families expenses.

    In these times, not I would not. I would only worry that they would take the precautions to be safe.

    I have trouble looking down on just about anyone. I don't really have a "book" for people to "go down in". Most of the time it's something that was never any of my business to begin with.

    It's not so much about me looking "down" on them for it....more wondering what they're doing to avoid having to resort to doing that again. You do what you gotta do to survive....so....whatever. But if someone were to ask my opinion about whether or not they should turn a trick to pay the bills, nah I wouldn't condone it.

    I have paid prostitutes in my youth, supported the economy of Mexico and Turkey.

    In New Orleans my neighbor was a prostitute. Black woman who worked only Scandinavian ships. She was caring for her elderly mother and two young daughters and teen son. (All beautiful mixed-race kids). I sorta mentored the boy while we lived there.

    No I would not look down on a prostitute. They provide a personal service and receive money for it. Sorta like a stripper. Or even me taking money to model naked for college art classes.

    Assuming that by selling themselves for sex they made enough money for their needs then a straight job could provide, who am I to judge? I would think it's very sad they had to do that but I wouldn't look down on them.
