I used to have one in my yard it was very comfortable, it had a pillow on it too. I left it out in the rain too often and now its gone sad

Chris I didn't sleep overnight in it just little naps in the afternoon for like an hour or so. That would be suicide to sleep over night without encasing my entire body in a net. Can your imagine that sight LOL!!!

Yep 300 more to go until the big 10!

We never had a hammock, but if we did and I didn't fall out of it, I'd try and see if it is comfortable.

Had one traveling thru Centro America and slept OK in it. Tied it between coconut palms and slept outside at Tulum Mexico. No mosquitos due to the breeze coming in off the Caribbean as we were right next to the surf.

Then I spent a month in a cabana on Lago Peten-itza Guatemala sleeping in the hammock. These are not the kind with a wooden bar holding them out str8. You can sleep sideways and they flatten somewhat. No pillow necessary.

IDK if they were all that comfortable or you get used to it when it is the only option for sleeping, but I recall some sound sleep in those times.

The kind of hammock I had was on a metal stand not the traditional one you hook between two posts or two of something.

It looked similar to this:

My aunt had one in her backyard. It was pretty comfortable actually. When it wasn't too hot outside, no gnats or mosquitoes biting at your ass and you could catch a nice breeze, it can be some of the best sleep you ever have.

I've slept in one while camping. The kind you string between trees. Didn't have any trouble falling asleep. My back was much younger then, though. Ever have sex in one?!
