Is there anything you so strongly believe in that you would march in the streets to support?

Oh, yeah. There are several things. Several are things that are never afforded organized protests in this area.

This week, my son really wanted to bike to the skate park to protest the fact they don't let BMX bikes do the course, though it was originally funded and designed for both skate and BMX. I did not let him go, as I couldn't drive him due to work stuff, and it was too far for him to bike to alone. But I feel bad that he cold not attend as that was his first protest that he wanted to attend. But I am so proud that many of our family friends texted us and kept us up to date on what was going on.

Yes and no.

I went to many Prop 8 rallies here in Boston. They were on some of the coldest days of the year. It was an amazing feeling to be there.

But I'd never attend a gay pride parade. I don't understand the gay community's methodology. This is our civil rights movement, and it's all about public sex, glitter and 90s pop divas. No. Just fucking no. It should be about professionalism and equality rather than house music and pink cowboy hats.
