The first one. I ain't paying for nobody else's shit....and really, people think they are slick with that. I remember I went out with this group and it was about 6 of us, what I ordered came up to about $40 but the bill was close to $600 and everyone (but me) decided to split the bill and the person(s) who really ran the bill up wound up paying less for what they got. After that I said "never again". I'll only throw money in the pot if I'm with a group and we're taking someone out for a special occasion or something to that effect. And most restaurants don't split the check. They like to charge for group parties because they can tack on mandatory gratuity. But when the bill comes, I tally up what I got, we all split the tax and the tip and that's it.
