No one ever asks me how much I weigh, except the blood bank when I donate. In fact, I don't really know - haven't weighed myself in years. I look about the same, probably about 190 pounds which isn't bad for a 66-year-old man.

Who asks how much you weigh? The only time I get asked that is for my driver's permit.

Only time I've ever had someone ask that question, it was in an appropriate context - renewing my driver's licence, stuff like that, so I didn't mind but if someone else asked, I'd just ask why it mattered to them.

Not really, but I don't see why it matters. I see it as an even more random and inappropriate question than being asked what your age is. The only people my weight should concern are me and my doctor.

I went to the doctor last week and I weigh 183 pounds, which is good news.
However, I never really track my weight, just my girth to determine if I need to eat less and work out more. (Muscle weighs more than fat - so you could be getting into shape while gaining weight).

Really, I do find it ruder than asking age. But, oddly, I had a harder time with the question when I was underweight than I would now, when I carry too many pounds.
