The Anthony jury is IN!

Think of the TV effect. Juries now, expect evidence, and everything presented by the proscecutors to be very tight, DNA, fingerprints, etc, all pointing dovetailed in one direction, squarely on the accused. No one nowadays wants to convict on anything less than a slam dunk.

Most of us know that life isn't like that. Life is full of ambiguities.

That's very true!

That creepy little jerk who is making the rounds of the talk shows, the alternate juror, says that the proscecution didn't prove a motive. They don't have to, by law!! They don't have to explain what was in someone's mind when they committed a crime!

And the a-hole says, this was a very dysfunctional family. Here we are, back to saying a criminal act is ok, as long as you had a rough upbringing. And I don't see that Casey had a rough upbringing.

Also, he said it was an accident that the family did not know how to deal with. Come on, they would have to be impaired not to know you call the cops. George was a former deputy, for Gods sakes.

Exactly. And you know what, this is one reason why I don't buy the 'oh poor mommy can't have any fun, boo hoo' story. My mother had her first child at 19, like Casey did, and she was in a worthless marriage to a real asshole and HER family was dysfunctional, her parents were both drunks who hit her all the time, they never helped out with shit like George and Cindy taking Caylee all the time. And what did my mother do? She went to college, got a job, worked more than one job, endured her crappy marriage and STILL raised her kids. If she could do it, there's no excuse that Casey HAS to party because she's young, she had a kid she needs to be a damn mother.
