    For the last week we have had summer weather here, lots of rain (this is the 'dry' season) and even a tropical disturbance that needed checking.

    I have been lucky this weekend. It rained all night Thur/Fri, but broke in time for me to bike to the movies. Then the storms chased me home, spitting on me but I got inside before the next wave of storms came thru.

    Today there were black clouds all around but I managed to bike downtown Miami to get my DVD of Breaking Dawn, then took in a movie.

    There is a cold front coming down now, it is getting cooler and will be in the 40s by tomorrow. (Yes, 40s is cold in some places)     blank stare @ you

    23 & that wind is brutal. Gonna disappear under the comforter tonight & may stay there til spring.

    We're expecting a cool front tonight. It was 87 degrees here today and quite humid. I was sweating like summer biking to the movies today. Hate to complain but I had to close the windows and turn on the A/C. It should be down to 63 degrees tomorrow morning.

    Yesterday was a near perfect beach day; cool breeze with lots of sun. I stayed out longer than I should have and now am a bit red. Blue Cool

    I know no one wants to hear this but since there were no movies of interest today, I went to the beach. It was actually too hot and muggy (over 80 degrees) to be totally enjoyable, but got an hour of sun to keep my tan up. Blue Cool
