    News stands have them available on the shelf and I will glance thru the ones that aren't sealed.

    I have no qualms about looking at erotica - I have quite a collection in my library. However, when I was a young man - exploring my expanded sexuality - I was quite self-conscious purchasing a gay porn mag from a sleazy news stand on Canal St. in New Orleans. I have since become much more jaded.

    Sometimes. But most of the "good" ones are covered in plastic so in order to really see them you have to purchase them. And I'm not desperate enough to actually buy a smut magazine, lol. But the PG-13 ones like Maxim and Stuff are fun to look at.

    This actually reminds me of something that most people never really consider...why is it that smut magazines geared towards heterosexual men (featuring nude women in sexual situations) are common and routine, but you NEVER see comparible mags geared towards women or gay men. How often have you ever even seen a Playgirl magazine anywhere? Oh what a sexist society we live in.
