I think I've heard of it before but I haven't read it and it's not ringing any bells, he was a...male prostitute or something? Is that right?

I actually own it. I found it at a rummage sale for a quarter. It is so hard to read. It doesn't flow well to me. Maybe I will get into it some time.

It is AWFUL! Awful structure, hard to follow, and the author is devastating the English language. It is about a drug addict and his experiences in rehab. Portions of it turned out to be exaggerated.

My cousin has the book and said the same thing, that it's hard to follow and becomes tedious to keep up with.
