I always buy my socks in packs at Walmart, they are always white. Because I wear socks all the time in the house they wear out fairly fast , so when one sock gets a hole I still have plenty that don't.

I wear only white crew socks (except for one pair of dark socks for my dress pants) and they are all about the same, except sometimes there is a different weave at the elastic top, which I have to take care to match them up.

Sometimes I may grab two white socks off the laundry table to wear that are different brands if I'm in a hurry or not paying close attention, but for the most part they match.
