The Three Stooges (2012)

Doubt it. I don't think they're all that funny & not especially interested in their lives.

I want to see it.

Yeah, I think it's worth seeing. My brother keeps asking WHERE do you find 3 guys who look like the Stooges? WHERE do they keep finding guys to play Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt?

No.

I wanna see it, but I'll wait for cable.

I never cared for the Three Stooges kinda humor. Now a whole new generation of kids can start gouging eyes and hitting each other in the head with hammers.

But these guys soitanly have a dedicated audience. Having worked with mentally retarded adults for about 40 years, I know 3 Stooges and Wrestling are their TV staple.

It looks hilarious.

Opening night at the theater here and I'm going, I'll be sure and throw in my two cents for it when I get back.

Opening night and there were about 60 of us there to see the 3 Stooges. It is NOT as great as the original shorts by the real McCoys, but then again what is? But I'd say it came very close. I do have to agree with my brother though, WHERE do you find 3 wiseguys who look so much like the Stooges? Or the children forms of themselves for that matter? Overall it was a very funny movie and nobody kept quiet for that one; but you could tell there were a few younger audience members not familiar with how the Stooges work because during the outrageous fight and accident sequences, a lot of them would be gasping at the people getting hit in the head and swung around and all of that. Me, I was laughing myself sick at it all because I know, what we all know, this is the 3 Stooges, people get saws run over the tops of their heads, they get bashed in the head with hammers, etc., nobody dies. And these guys seemed to have studied the Stooges techniques very well, so much props for doing their homework there. And they had a very good idea here, if there WAS somebody like Moe on the Jersey Shore reality show beating up everyone else and smacking them around, THEN the show would definitely be worth seeing!

Doesn't interest me.
