Hey, that's cool! I've always found those statues very fascinating, anyway, because they're so huge, and despite theories, no real proof of how they were moved and set up, especially at those difficult placements. And it was no overnight thing. Aren't there hundreds of them? I've a hunch that they sank. If they were made to keep out invaders then I think they would have displayed the whole "bodies".
