I just bought a ticket to see Madonna in Sept. in Chicago! I am so friggin excited. Can't wait!! The concert is on Thursday, so it shall be an amazing weekend.

How much did you pay for tickets? I heard her tickets are very very expensive. But have a good time Red!

Thanks...Yep, Al, it was A ticket. Just me. Jay does not like Chicago or taking time off work, so I am flying solo. If tickets were not so high, I would have purchased a second for a friend.

No worry with that, Al. The United Center is so steep, I wouldn't even have a drink in there as I am too afraid of falling. When I saw John Mayer there, I was totally freaked out by it and did not have a drop to drink.

The show was Thursday. It was beyond amazing. I really loved it. From her new album, I love the song, "Masterpiece." I cried like a baby! She sounded amazing and I am tearing up just typing this.
The tickets were for 8, and she didn't take the stage until 9:30-ish. There was a DJ who's worked on some of her albums spinning for a long time. I don't go to a lot of concerts, but when an "opening act" isn't publicized, I don't plan for there to be one. And she did not do an encore. So, those were the two negatives.
But, really, she did a wonderful performance. High-energy and her whole crew is so talented.
