I can't complain...they are not to bad here. My only issue is the dog park is too far away. However, we are supposed to be getting one here soon.

There are more than a few. Not walking distance (even for me) but not too far to drive. Of course it's been a while since I've been to any but they're there if I need one.

North Shore Park is walking distance from my apartment. I sometimes run their paved trails. It has barbecue/picnic set ups, lots of shade trees and access to the beach all along it. Sometimes they have art fairs or other functions in it.

Yep, right across the street. A very nice, huge park that takes up an entire city block....and they just renovated it. The soccer field is huge. Handball courts and basketball courts are nice and the kids park is nice too. That's where I work out.

Yes, there's one within a mile of my house that is decent. The last time out of town relatives came to Michigan, we all gathered there.
