As far as I've read, there's only one more season planned after this one so whatever happens in the next four episodes will probably put us on whatever course they're going to use to end it.

Yeah if I remember right it was a HUGE multimillion dollar deal for MCH. Starting somewhere around S5 I thought it was getting to be about that time. I feel like they almost have to catch him but keep flip flopping on that lol

- Somehow I always felt that Isaak and Viktor would be reunited in the end. I was wondering there for a second if Deb was just going to walk back out and leave Hannah to die. I'm glad she didn't.

- As much as I dislike Hannah & believe she will eventually try to kill Dexter, I'm glad Deb did the right thing. There's no doubt the girl has issues but she's always been a good cop. I actually hope those rumors are wrong & Matthews will be the one to kill Laguerta instead. Maria is only going to get so far with her investigation before someone has to stop her.

I'm not sure I get the Isaak storyline now. Was the whole point so Dex could gain some insight into himself? What did I miss? BTW CeCe, how accuarte do you think that spoiler is about Deb and a certain police captain?

I'm starting to get thoroughly unimpressed with the show. Feel like they're trying to alter Dexter too much too late into the show. But I'll stick with it. The only thing that might change that is
With another season to go it seems way too early to move this fast. I still have the hope it's true & the end of Maria. Although it could turn out to be Matthews. Something odd about the way Maria told him "You'll get what's coming to you". Foreshadowing maybe?

- if Doakes is anything more than just a dream, memory or imagination. Doakes surviving that blast we all SAW apparently unscathed from appearances would take it into a level of absurdity I'm not sure I would hang around for

I think she did. She really does love Dex & is afraid Hannah is going to kill him so yeah, she probably did.

Also, I have to believe that the scene where he's being led into the squad room in cuffs and Doakes showing his face aren't actual events. It also looks like he's at least contemplating putting LaGuerta on his table. Mathews was brought back for a reason. I wonder how much his loyalty to Harry extends to Dex & Deb.

I've wondered for a while if Matthews knows about Dexter. And Matthews would probably like Maria out of the way himself. He hasn't forgotten all she did. Not her first time pulling one of those stunts & luck eventually runs out.
Word going around is the writers didn't completely lose their minds & a certain character is dead with a capital D-E-A-D. As much as I always liked the character I'm happy about that.

While I'm not eager to rush my weekend to a close, only a few more hours to see what course the show is likely to be set for the presumed final season. In the paper yesterday, there was an article that included comments from Michael C. Hall. One of them was, "He's (Dexter) immediately ready to defend himself. We're never going to see-I guess it's important to never say never-but I don't think we're going to see Dexter in a courtroom, going through a trial." Interesting.

Did you see the short comments by one of the producers, Scott Buck (I think it was) at the end of the episode? Deb's reaction at the end was unscripted. All M.C.H. could do was squat down and watch.
