    Absolutely fucking not. It's been years since I've seen one. And it had been one of my favorites. They put up a sign trying to claim it was because they were doing a remodel. Bullshit. You have to almost go out of your way to get a C rating. It's the final step before being shut down.

    I've never checked ratings at restaurants. Just look at them and figure if I can survive eating there. Traveling thru third world countries your standards can't be too high - I've had arroz y frijoles negras in Centro American Comidas that I'm sure were not regulated or rated. Same with rice & dal in Afghanistan, Pakistan & India.

    I don't make it a habit to check restaurant ratings, but if I heard one was rated that low I wouldn't bother.

    I'm clueless, I didn't know they were ratings like that for restaurants and I don't what would qualify as a "C" restaurant.

    It has to do with sanitation, proper prep & storage. A "C" rating is unbelievably bad. Whatever caused it, whether it was food stored at the wrong temp, rotten food, cleaner in the food prep area, roaches or rats, a "C" is generally just nastyass. One level from being shut down by the health department.

    I didn't realize such info was public. I always thought it was pass/fail and if the grade was poor, they would come back to do a follow up. I hope I can find the list. Anybody know where to find one's state or city list?
