Sorry I been Waldo over these last few days; this *is* the flu I'm battling. Not quite as bound for death as I was on Saturday, but I'm still pretty dog sick (my throat is murder, and my cough is ugly.) Am taking the week off work, so I'll try to come on and post a little more.

Thanks Tony. This has been going on for five and a half days. I'll concede to being out of commission for seven; hopefully by the end of this week I'll be on the mend.

Nope never had it and I never had a Flu shot. I get severe bronchitis which lasts for months, I still have a touch of it from when I got it at the end of December.

Absolutely! Although the medicine I took has made me a bit drowsy, so I think I'm about to take a little nap. Seems that's been all I've done these last few days, aside from hack, wheeze and breathe out of one semi-clear nostril.

Sounds like you're already on the mend, Bruh-Man. The flu will usually take a week to run its ugliest course. Just take it easy and wait it out...all you can do, really. If you anything like me, on the fifth or sixth day of being sick, you will wake up and decide that you're tired of it and get dressed, to spite how you feel. At that point more than half the battle is over.

BTW, why do I get the feeling that Chris is probably adorable as hell when he's under the weather? Has your lady friend been over yet to give you a sponge bath?

Glad you're feeling a bit better, Chris. Take this week off to relax and sleep and make sure you're 100% before going back to work. You don't want to get sick again. sending you cyber hugs and positive thoughts.
