How would you react if you found some sort of pornographic item (magazine or video) is your child's room? Would it be grounds for punishment?

Nope. As a guy I have been guilty of it when I was younger so why would I punish my kids for the same thing I have done? I would just put it back and walk away, they are going to be exposed to it anyway so why get upset about it.

But who says death is the worst I can do. I am cruel. As sad a fate as my dead characters meet, I wouldn't say that they had it the worst in the book.

I guess I must be a bad parent because my son had porn mags when he was a teen and he didn't have to hide them from me at all. I just told him to keep them out of sight when my nieces and nephews would come by.

Shows a normal curiosity and sexual development. I have porn and as a teen, tho there wasn't much available, we found the occasional Playboy (or muscle builder mag) to excite our growing sexual interest.

Eh, I wouldn't crucify him for it. I'd prob. just shake me head and laugh. Depending on the age of my son, I'd let it go and I might dip into his stash every now and then. If he's younger than.....let's say, 13 and I see it......I would have a stern talk with him about sex. It'd obviously be about that time.
