One Life to Live Scoops & Spoilers
Previews for the week of 12-Apr-2010
    by Carol Banks Weber

    • Fish stands up as Sierra Rose’s true dad while contesting Gigi’s custody request in court.

    • Gigi caves, dropping her custody request, and letting Fish alone with Sierra Rose.

    • Fish and Kyle communicate to Gigi that she’s still Sierra Rose’s aunt, and family. That will never change. She can come and go as she pleases in the baby girl’s life.

    • Rex goes to Allison for more information about where he might’ve come from. She steers him to Nurse Wojohowitz, who first discovered him as an abandoned infant.

    • Kyle provides Rex with the required, but stunning DNA evidence: Allison’s telling the truth this time. Mitch really has no shared DNA with Rex, yet his DNA saved Shane.

    • Rex and Gigi intend to go on an adventure, starting with that nurse, in hopes of locating who his real dad (and mom) are.

    • Dorian has a meeting with Charlie at the Palace to discuss his involvement in the building of the town’s City Center. Viki comes upon them, feeling a twinge of jealousy.

    • Brody takes Jessica out for some drinks, dancing and maybe rekindling, while enjoying the live band, Lifehouse, at Ultraviolet.

    • Brody begins to make inroads with Jessica before Cristian and Layla arrive, distracting Jess.

    • Cris has to make a big stink about bringing Layla to the prom, to convey to Jess they’ve been over a long time ago.

    • Jess hates hearing about Cris and Layla as prom dates. But she’s going solo.

    • Brody renews efforts to win Jess back, on their own terms.

    • Jess confides in Marty that she’d hoped to have sex for the first time with Cris during prom.

    • Kelly and John personally see to the mystery of Melinda’s untimely death, by interviewing her sanitarium’s administrator and inquiring about a mute patient named Rodney.

    • John senses Rodney can really help Kelly discover the truth.

    • Talks with the sanitarium administrator, Ms. Stevens, happen because the mystery calls to Kelly occurred from this woman’s office.

    • Jake calls Todd out on missing Tea, after the boy notices his dad acting like a total bunghole.

    • Todd turns into a monster at the Palace, when Blair comes upon the scene for her outing with boyfriend Eli. Todd messes with Blair for sport.

    • In the courtroom (the custody hearing), Tea drops like a stone—conveniently in Eli’s arms. Concerned, he rushes her to the hospital to make sure she’s taken good care of.

    • Eli rushes to the Palace to meet up with Blair, many minutes behind. He’s full of sorrys and appeal.

    • Greg insists Tea make the next appointment for a full workup.

    • Todd wants Tea to tell him if they’d be a couple now if it weren’t for Dani’s unreasonable antipathy toward him.

    • Todd visits upon Starr at her and Cole’s pad. But he walks in on Cole’s friend Hannah removing her blouse (to change into a new one, after she’d spilled a drink on it).

    • Todd raises the roof about this Hannah chick and what Cole must be doing with her.

    • Todd assumes Hannah is another notch on Cole’s belt. This sets him off to plot against Cole and free Starr from him.

    • Starr enters the scene, as Cole and Hannah are in each other’s arms.

    • Langston’s high school musical is well underway with rehearsals. Starr can’t help but remember how horrid it was back when Todd was beating the crap out of Cole. She never wants that to happen again.

    • When it kind of does start happening again (Todd hating Cole), Starr backs off from taking a stand against her dad, which disappoints Cole.

    • Natalie bends Brody’s ear about wanting John and not having him because of Marty and her sudden, inconvenient pregnancy.

    • Marty latches onto a crucial portion of Natalie’s conversation with Brody, and goes off.

    • Natalie gives as good as she gets, cutting Marty to the core unnecessarily.

    • In hindsight, Natalie feels ashamed for being so mean to Marty.

    • Marty gets into a tangle with Todd, who doesn’t pussyfoot around with her. The two of them really lay into each other before he says something he’ll regret.

    • Marty’s pregnancy becomes even more high risk when she takes a tumble off a flight of stairs after a snafu with another character. That tumble may have been provoked.

    • Bo tries to talk Nora into saying yes to his asking her to try again as husband and wife.

    • Starr tattles on Langston to Cole on the matter of cheating on Markko with Ford. She adds that Langston is right now springing Markko loose.

    • It’s true. Langston is just about to let Markko go, when Dorian messes it up.

    • Dorian makes a big deal out of how fabulous Markko, the boyfriend, has been for Langston.

    • Nobody bothered to inform Cole of the split-interruptus. So when he later runs into Markko at the diner, he starts talking like the guy had just lost Langston as a girlfriend.

    • Langston fakes out Starr about giving Ford the heave-ho.

    • Ford fakes out Langston by making their relationship exclusive, when it’s clearly not (Karen, the booty on the side).

    • Matthew and Destiny get to know Nate a little. Nate auditioned and won the role of the high school musical’s Cole.

    • Next week: Viki knows what to do about her stalemate with Charlie now… John encounters the unthinkable… John and Kelly must deal with a surprising development… Marty suspects Natalie of giving her a shove… John’s all over Marty, now that she’s in peril with the fall… John tells Marty he’s determined to out the culprit… Natalie is in pain because of John. Luckily, there’s Brody to lick her wounds… Tea starts looking at Todd sideways, considering his capability of culpability… Starr puts Todd on alert to watch himself… Layla misconstrues a situation… Ford keeps fooling Langston, stringing her along… Cole grapples with whether to out Langston as cheating on Markko… Meanwhile, Markko has no clue about his loyal girlfriend. But he will soon enough. He gets one close call this week.
