One Life to Live Scoops & Spoilers
Previews for the week of 19-Apr-2010
    by Carol Banks Weber

    • John tries to ascertain what happened with an unconscious Marty and the damage done, when he spies Natalie at the top of the stairs, looking on in horror.

    • Natalie makes haste to retrieve proper medical care for Marty.

    • Out of her unconscious state, Marty relays to John that someone purposely pushed her down the stairs. She thinks Natalie’s the one, since the two got into it earlier. And, John starts thinking so too, since Nat was right up at the top of those stairs.

    • Dr. Morrison examines Marty with an ultra-sound. It’s not good, folks.

    • Marty asks John why he hasn’t apprehended Natalie yet for pushing her down the stairs. What’s the hold-up?

    • John makes a promise to Marty, from the bottom of his heart. And that is to finger the culprit who did this to her.

    • John comes across Natalie seemingly back at the scene of the crime (where Marty fell down).

    • John grills Natalie about Marty’s fall, like Nat pushed her down. His line of questioning aggravates Nat.

    • Natalie expresses unhappiness and regret to John for Marty’s unfortunate miscarriage.

    • John’s willingness to believe the worst chagrins Natalie.

    • Without John to turn to, Natalie turns to her newfound pal Brody and lays out her current trouble. She’s so glad he is kind and doesn’t mind listening to her and helping her out.

    • Brody isn’t John. He gladdens Natalie’s heart by saying that he doesn’t think she would do this to Marty.

    • Brody interviews Marty about what might’ve happened. His line of questioning jars another part of her memory, the one where she set Todd off. Maybe it wasn’t Natalie but Todd.

    • The unthinkable happens John’s way.

    • Todd doesn’t hide his displeasure with Marty, which Tea can plainly see.

    • Tea loses sleep, because she believesTodd may have had something major to do with Marty’s downfall.

    • Tea goes to the crime scene to see for herself what might’ve happened here.

    • Tea goes to Todd to ascertain his guilt or innocence involving Marty’s accident. She lights into him to come forward now before it’s too late.

    • Tea’s questioning rubs Todd the wrong way.

    • When Tea makes her leave, Todd checks in on Marty.

    • John goes from Natalie to Todd as his primary suspect.

    • John proceeds to rake Todd over the coals for what he maybe did to Marty.

    • Cole takes no prisoners when it involves Todd. He doesn’t need any convincing that Todd shoved Marty, especially when Hannah confirms this.

    • Starr puts Todd through the wringer for being so hostile to Cole.

    • Starr says to her boyfriend Cole that she cannot cut Todd loose, that he’s her dad forever, for better or worse, so deal with it.

    • Starr and Cole work it out, resolving to stay strong together—no matter what Todd or anybody else does.

    • Starr closes ranks, dealing severely with Hannah about trifling with Cole.

    • Langston and Ford engage in hanky-panky at a Palace hotel room. (The room is booked for a bigwig in town on business, with Ford.)

    • Markko puts on a bell boy costume and carries a room service tray, to try and meet his hero – the bigwig – but he almost meets up with Langston sexing up Ford.

    • Langston has just enough time to scurry into the shadows when Markko walks into the hotel room.

    • Listening attentively, Langston is horrified that Ford’s mercilessly messing with Markko, taking advantage of his ignorance about her. She can’t take it anymore and bolts while she still can.

    • Langston gives Starr her word that she’s ditched Ford.

    • Langston does go to Ford to try and ditch him. But he manipulates her, like his personal sex slave.

    • Cole goes back and forth with himself, about whether he should be loyal to his buddy Markko and just point out Langston’s trifling ways with Ford.

    • Danielle smacks on Nate – their first time – as scripted during their run-throughs.

    • Matthew explains to Destiny why he is so scared he won’t be able to hold onto Dani.

    • Viki bestows Charlie her benevolence. They’re in again.

    • Viki allows Charlie to work for Dorian.

    • Charlie accepts a profitable, fulfilling post that Dorian extends.

    • Viki orders Dorian to just make Charlie’s gig work, no hanky-panky.

    • Viki resolves to put the past behind her re: Charlie and proceed accordingly.

    • Rex begins to learn more about where he came from, from the source herself.

    • Nurse Wojohowitz can only give Rex a part of a locket that was found with him when he was left as an infant.

    • Nora and Bo prepare Clint for their impending marriage, #2.

    • Rodney waits for Kelly to return to her office at The Sun. The sight of him there makes her jump three feet.

    • But after talking with Rodney and getting over the fact that he can talk back, Kelly begins to accept that he’s on her side.

    • Rodney divulges to Kelly that Melinda met her end by foul means. But for further details, he must meet with only John.

    • For some reason, Kelly has to get out of her office to try and reach John.

    • When Kelly comes back into her office, guess what? No more Rodney, just more questions and time for the coroner.

    • Kelly rankles Blair again.

    • The next time Blair runs into Kelly, though, she’s acting like everything’s fine between them.

    • Eli inquires of Blair’s dynamic with Kelly.

    • Enlightenment in this Melinda mystery may strike Kelly, in the form of an incoming character.

    • Viki encourages Jessica to attend her high school prom regardless of Cristian’s unavailability.

    • Layla does some heavy misconstruing when it comes to Cris and Jess.

    • Next week: Tea divulges the inside out with Blair, of all people… John and Todd throw down… Hannah is all ears when she chances upon Cole insisting to Starr that Todd intentionally shoved Marty… Cole rails on Todd… Cole’s attack costs him… Todd swears to Starr that he did not resort to paying Marty back like this… Blair and Tea go over what they know… Natalie expects John to grovel at her feet for mistreating her like a criminal… Tea takes up for Todd, as his attorney, when no one else will… Kelly screams at Rodney’s still-warm corpse… Kelly really begins to bug the crap out of Blair… Charlie makes it his business to concern himself with Jess and her men… Markko will soon find out what a chump Langston made him out to be… Viki gives her seal of approval on Rex and Gigi reuniting.
