    What are some of the odder and in some cases maybe, more macabre or morbid things that you think about that you wonder if anybody has the answer to?


    Last night I was thinking again about the Lizzie Borden murder case and something hit me...HOW did the murders happen and nobody knew it? Of course you could apply this to any other murder at probably any other point in history, but this is 1892, no TVs, no radios, nothing that I know of to block out the sound of somebody screaming, and I'm guessing houses back then were not made very soundproof, especially the cheaper kinds of ones like the Bordens lived in...now Andrew Borden was supposedly asleep when he got killed, but what about the stepmother? Abby Borden was found on the floor butchered, she had been cleaning up the room, I doubt she was asleep when she got hers as well...didn't she scream? Wouldn't anybody have heard it who was in the vicinity? Especially the maid who was a floor above it? Now, I suppose the first whack could've done the trick and killed her instantly, but considering she was hit 18 times, I wonder.

    Something I think about is how two people have a kid together and then split up and one or both of the couple will say that it was all worth it because they have the kid(s). But, is it really worth going through a bunch of shit to have the kids? Because if you never went through all the b.s., you would have found someone else, had other kids, and never known what you are missing.

    Oh, I totally get that. But we would never know what we are missing. I love my son to the tips of my fingers and know what a good, talented, intelligent, handsome kid he is. But maybe with someone else I would have had a kid just as great if not given birth to a kid who will one day be instrumental in curing a disease or something.

    Here's one I've thought about for a while. Say someone gets arrested, and you know they say 'you have the right to remain silent' what if somebody took it a step further? Didn't say anything to cops, to his own lawyer, to anybody? What would they do with him? Because if he doesn't talk, you couldn't have him checked to determine if he was insane or not, could you? And if he won't even tell the lawyer what happened, they can't build up a defense.
