HomeSome people when they're down or depressed, they can't eat, and others will go on binges of sorts...I've had a lousy day and I've just felt like the bottomless pit today, no matter how much I eat I still feel like I never ate.

Most of the time there's no effect either way but it really depends on the reason.

When something is a minor annoyance, like the boss being a jackass, I just want to go to the store and pig out on pizza or ice cream.
When it is something deadly serious, I lose my appetite and weight drops off. That doesn't happen that much.

My appetite usually increases. I try to stay away from chocolates and ice cream and pizza, but sometimes that stuff makes me feel better when I'm blue. I figure "Oh, who cares, I feel like hell anyway, might as well make myself as comfortable as I can."

I lose it totally. Eating becomes a chore.

It's like that for most people, but ironically for me, it's not. I like to drink, but I wouldn't drink when I'm upset or depressed. It does nothing for me.
