What do you think "Alejandro" is about?

One of the things I love about "Alejandro" is that it's open to interpretation. I've heard a lot of people say that they think it's about gay rights and that it reinforces that idea in the video (which I haven't seen.) However, I think this song is about a cheating wife who at one point had a lot of lovers, but now she is either uninterested or fearful of intimacy with any of the named men and is only interested in the unnamed man - the only one she can feel heat with, maybe even thinking he is "the one" like all the others. I posted the lyrics in this post and I made a few notes of my notes (in Italics) to kind of make my point about why I think it's about infidelity.

Anyway, what do you guys think it's about?
