    One of my sisters is staying with me because her place is being fumigated for termites. A couple years ago I noticed some in my basement, but the problem never got out of hand; I just sprayed, cleaned up and they seemed to disappear.

    We get ants sometimes, just set up the traps for them.

    Oh man with the seasonal change we're getting those FLYING ANTS that look like termites. I been noticing them everywhere in my room by the window and on my desk. Just bought a can of Raid a few days ago.

    If you've seen termites it might be a good idea to have someone look at it. A lot of companies will do free inspections. Those little demons can do a lot of damage before you even see it.

    A few years ago I had a termite problem, you would not believe how the little suckers ate away at the wood around the back windows. I called Terminix and they had to install the Sentricon system around the house that gets rid of termites and keeps them away. It costs me 400 bucks a year to maintain the system but its well worth it. I had to have the wood replaced around the windows.

    Nah. I remember when I first moved in here 4 yrs ago, I kept seeing baby ants on the kitchen window sill. Got some spray, haven't had that problem since.

    Nah I think (hope) these are ants. Some ants have wings and look like termites.

    True I didnt look THAT close at 'em, but we havent noticed any wood dust so I'm assuming theyre just seasonal ants that somehow got in around the windowsills.
