    My mother had tried to find out for the longest time who she was related to and where her family came from, but everybody kept it a big secret because they couldn't be bothere to discuss anything unimportant like that. And she tried the ancestry websites, they didn't work, so she had a friend who's a librarian check out the genealogy herself, and she found out that my mother is the great great great great great something or other granddaughter of Anne Dudley Bradstreet, the first American woman poet published. And when she found out she said that makes sense because a lot of the people on her side of the family do write, us included. big grin And I can't help but think, if great great great great whatever, Grandmother was alive, what she'd think of the stuff I write. my badd

    I am probably the most famous person in my family since I have had articles and fotos published in magazines worldwide (but mostly in nudist circles). Other than that, and my sister being Sharon Stone, just plain folks. Blue Cool

    One of my great-grandmother's sisters was married to Raymond Duncan, brother of famed dancer Isadora Duncan, so I suppose there's a relation by marriage there.

    Also, I'm somehow a cousin of actress Daphne Zuniga. I'd have to browse my family tree info to determine exactly how, but basically we have a common ancestor who had 2 families going at the same time in the late 1800's--one in Finland, one in America, and after he died, all the dirt came out! LOL
