Now that it's hot and the sun is blazing, are you wearing any sunglasses when you're out? How many pairs, if you do? I have about eight pairs, but only wear two.

I wear them year round. One eye doc says it's genetics that cause cataracts later in life, another says it's unprotected exposure to the sun. I'm taking the safe way. It's not like wearing them is an inconvenience. Got about 4 or 5 probably.

My prescription eyeglasses have the Transition lenses that turn dark in sunlight. I love 'em.

I have four pairs that I haven't worn yet this summer. It's funny, because as I was driving yesterday, the sun was beaming through the windshield and into my eyes, but my shades were at home.

I wear sunglasses definitely. I have 4 subscription pairs and 7 non subscription pairs. I definitely use mine when driving.

Yes. I keep two pairs of sunglasses in the eyeglass container of my car that's right next to my mirror.

I have one pair in my beach bag and that is the only place I wear them because the sun is more intense bouncing off the sand. Normally, I just wear a cap that shades my eyes.

I've mentioned this before but you should really be sure they are rated for adequate UV protection (both UVA and UVB rays). Don't assume that expensive sunglasses offer it.

I have one pair because that's all I can afford for prescription sunglasses, and I really haven't been wearing them too much yet. But it's SO nice to have them now, as a kid when my eyesight first started going, my parents would've NEVER gotten prescription sunglasses, so I had the cheap toy kind, so it became a choice of wanting to see or wanting to block out the sun.

i dont wear them too often.. i can't keep 'em for shit.. i always end up losing or breaking them

I just have one pair that I bought two years ago - but it's an expensive pair, that cost me over $100. I drive with them on all the time. I may get a second cheap pair to wear around this summer.

I know my prescription ones definitely have UV protection.
