| Do you have to move the driver's seat forward or backward in order to comfortably reach the pedals and have enough room to grab the wheel?
The last couple of days have been my first time driving again since winter before the ice hit, my permit's coming up on expiration in a couple of weeks and I simply can NOT stand to take the written test to get it reissued again. And as before, my father is 'teaching' me to drive, and he keeps complaining I'm not hitting the brakes, when I am, and I'm not stepping on the gas, when I am, and he says I need to move the seat up a notch, but I can reach them just fine from the seat's regular position. | |

| No, I'm usually to only person driving my vehicle. If I let somebody borrow my car, then that would be the only time I have to adjust. | |

| I'm 5'11" and I need the seat as far back as it will go. How tall are you Supernopva? | |

| I am the only one who drives it, so it stays in the setting. I do sit very close to the wheel and always have. A few friends have teased me about it. | |

| What exactly is the "regular position" of your car seat? All the way back? I can't speak for you but if I was only 5'4", I think I would need to move the seat up to reach the pedals comfortably. | |

| I guess it is, as far back as the passenger seat is, which is never adjusted. | |

| My seat is already adjusted. Most if the time if I'm driving someone else's car.....I'd have to let the seat back. Your feet don't need to be all up on the pedals to operate them. | |
