How much do you curse/swear?

Maybe something else I picked up from my dad is his mouth. I don't swear very much online and in text, but I admit that IRL I swear quite a bit without thinking beforehand. How much do you swear and do you ever curse in front of your parents?

What's the level between moderate and extreme? I don't curse as much as I used to and I don't curse like a sailor, but I can't lie and say it's not apart of my everyday vernacular. I know when to turn it on and off though. For the longest time, I would NEVER curse in front of my parents, but shit....I'm a grown woman now and I don't live in their house. I won't say any of the hardcore stuff, but I will say 'hell', 'damn' or 'shit' in front of them.

Mild/Moderate. I cuss when I feeling in an "extreme" mood...like if I'm especially pissed off or especially glad about something. Beyond that, not really. I try not to curse around family.

I am mid moderate, I don't curse and swear a lot unless I am really angry. In my house as a kid if you ever cursed or swore you got a hand accross your mouth.

Ditto, my language only becomes crass when I'm excited (irate, thrilled) about something. Generally I might throw out an occasional "damn," "hell" or "shit," but that's about it. Something out of the way needs to happen for me to utter the F-word. I don't have too much of a foul mouth, overall.

I was raised by my grandmother who would give you a boffaton if you looked at her wrong, however my mouth is bad when i am around children i must watch my mouth with mothe motherfuc__r being my favorite

I consider myself in the former. I occasionally drop the mild ones you can say on TV but I hardly ever let anything really bad slip out of my mouth.

I behave myself in public but around the house or by myself in the car? I can be like Ralphie's father in A Christmas Story. I can let a few slip under my breath at work sometimes. It's something I need to work on.

I'm pretty lightweight with my foul language. Damn is probably the one I say the most. As has been said by others, something really needs to be not right about the given situation for me to start throwing out more hardcore expletives.

I try to not get into the habit, but then I take my bike out on the streets and my "street talk" comes in. Ya gotta see how these fuckin' assholes drive in Miami. "Motherfucker - hang up and drive!"

Consequently, when I get mad at work an occasional word will blurt out. I usually just walk away until I calm down.
