I'm not talking about your first crush in the fifth grade, or your first puppy-love; but rather the first person you were madly in love with (and who felt the same about you.) Are you over *that* one? If you had the chance to rekindle that relationship, would you?

Im not sure that you ever really get over it, if the relationship didn't end on too bad of a note I think that person will be forever in your heart. Mine is. As far as going back, no, we have grown apart in very different directions and live in different states now too.

Yup. Once I get over something, it's a wrap. No, I wouldn't rekindle it.

I don't think I'm over mine. We were together (off and on) for thirteen years, and one and a half broken engagements. By the time it ended, it was definitely time to move on, but we can never been completely out of each others lives. I could easier get drunk off her again if we don't continue to keep things at arms distance.

Ditto. I remember the way it used to be, but if I long for anything it's more for that time period than the actual relationship.

When I reconnect with the mindset I had back then, I'm probably not completely over it. But when I consider all that I have experienced and who I am today, I have pretty much moved on. It's like looking at a picture from years ago in an outfit you used to love. You still love the way you used to look in it, but today that same outfit is either outdated or wouldn't fit you anymore.
