| I think whoever came up with the idea of Daylight Savings Time had partially the right idea, but we should just leave it an hour ahead all year because next week it's going to be dark at 5 o' clock and be that way for about five months, which is going to really suck. Winter wouldn't be so bad if we weren't plunged into pitch darkness before 6 P.M. every night. | |

My parents don't either--they live in Phoenix. I wish we'd just leave it alone, too--it screws everyone up for about a week, having to readjust to the new time. Just that hour throws off your sleep pattern, and if you're working this weekend like I am, you get to work an extra hour on Saturday night/Sunday morning! Yipee! I can't wait. . . .  | |

No--they try to schedule the same people on the time change weekends both in the spring and fall, so they can pay us regular, because in the spring, you end up working one less hour. They figure it evens out that way, so they don't have to pay OT. With all the cutbacks, we're only allowed 3 hours total OT per week for the entire lab! | |

| I hate DST because of how bright it is in the mornings because of it. When I leave at 6 and 7 am, I prefer it dark. | |
