Will you try to shop a small business on Small Business Saturday (Nov. 26)?

I am sure you have seen some of the marketing for Small Business Saturday. Will you make it a point on Saturday to hit a small business?

I will be at my Dad's this weekend, and there is a tiny meat place there, so I will go there and buy from them. I think it is a good concept to have people take note to try to stop in a small business the day after the masses flock to the big box stores to spend their holiday dollars.

Well, I was going to until I found out to my horror that the store I had in mind closed a couple of months ago. I am heart-broken. I think the remaining small businesses I'll be shopping from is a the outdoor market where the vendors craft their own wares.

This is my first time hearing about this. I take it that they are trying to get the residual Black Friday shoppers? Perhaps. It all depends on if I continue my shopping over the weekend.

My first time hearing of this also, but I won't be doing any shopping this weekend.

I'm not going anywhere near any stores this weekend!
