    Definitely. I heard about a guy who has lost his right to attorney because he stabbed the last 3 of them and he has to defend himself and be tied to a chair during the whole trial. If he's not insane he should be considered so and locked up far separately.

    Yes! In fact, I always assumed that the criminally insane were pretty much sequestered in their cells/rooms. Are they not? Do they actually "mix" in with the crowd (lunch, breaks) with the regular prisoners????

    See, why should an inmate who's incarcerated for something like tax evasion (as an example) be threated by a loony criminal's presence?

    yes... i always thought they were locked in a hospital type of situation rather than a prison
