Do you think that nude art (posing) is harmful, or inappropriate, for children to see?

No it is not harmful for kids to see nude art, or nude ppl for that matter.
This is not just my opinion but has been documented for generations of European and other cultures in which the nude human form is seen in art and IRL.

No. I don't see how nudity could be considered "harmful" in anyway. I can understand how in certain situations it would not be appropriate, but "nude art" is obviously appropriate for nudity! And if you don't want them seeing nude art because you're a prude, then don't take them to nude art exhibits. It's really that simple! To each his own...
But I will say that if you've sheltered your kids to the point where they've never seen a breast or someone elses pee-pee before, then they are going to have much bigger issues that either you or they will have to deal with later in life. I'd most certainly have better things to do with my time than worrying about what nudity my child might eventually see.

I would not want my kids to be exposed to it until they were of an age where they understood it more.

No, I don't. I don't even have a problem with them looking at National Geographic (which, "way back then", is how many of us kids viewed pictorials of naked bodies).

we teach our kids to cover up and be ashamed of their bodies, then wonder whether nudity is appropriate for them to see? nudity is natural. Would i walk around naked in front of my kids, no. Would i encourage them to appreciate their own bodies and not feel ashamed in order to build their self esteem, yes. So i actually think that nude art would benefit the child to see that everyone is different shapes, colors, and sizes... let them know that they are individuals and nature is good.

That's a good way of looking at it. We see nudity as almost a sin but we come into the world naked, why? Because apparently God decided WE didn't need to come into the world wearing fur coats. And nudity in public that's illegal, but in the privacy of your own home, that's a different story altogether.

Depends on what it is. Nudity is "harmful" for kids to see per se more than it is inappropriate.

I think in art it is fine. Though if I had a young daughter, I am not sure I would want her to see a penis if she was seven or younger.

I wouldn't use the word "harmful," but in most cases I would say that I think it's inappropriate and totally unnecessary for their eyes to see.
