How are you at reading out loud? Are you able to keep the balance or do you break up?

I think I do fine with it.

Many years ago I was at a laundromat, and this odd guy was reading a book while waiting ~ loudly. He read everything out loud, and it was really, really weird.

Oddly enough I read faster out loud than I do reading to myself. I was taught to read in whole phrases, and to read with emotion. And so I do when reading out loud. I have done a lot of reading out loud in the past year. Hubby is an avid reader but because of cataracts he can no longer read the normal print, and some books he can't get in large print. I can read for hours at a time to him , with occasional breaks for a refill of my 7-up and potty breaks. I actually enjoy it. It will be a while before he can have the surgery because our area has one ophthalmologist to serve a pretty large area. Thankfully he is pretty darned good.

I'm fine at it. My lips don't move if I'm reading to myself either.

It's not a problem for me. Actually, sometimes reading aloud helps me concentrate on the passage.
