HomeHas this ever happened with you? This happened with me once a couple weeks back and we couldn't figure out what caused it to happen but I'm just hoping it doesn't again. I was on the highway and checking to make sure I wasn't going over the speed limit and the needle is down at the bottom, not reading anything into how fast I'm going. I didn't want to take a chance on the car breaking down on me because that would be my luck, so, as far as I could help not exceeding the limit since I couldn't tell how fast I was going, I got straight home before it had a chance to do anything else funny. But it didn't do it when anybody else tried driving it, and it hasn't happened since either.

I have heard of that before. I think eventually it will be completely broken. That happened to one of our trucks.

IDK about this new electronic age, but used to be the speedometer/odometer ran on a little cable and if that broke ...
