Have you ever made phone calls to an online pal?

I have, and it was regular. She and I were both into being dog owners and got into real life stuff. I had to cut ties after she was always talking about how sick she was. She was clearly one of those people with every ailment she read about.

No I didn't but one made regular calls to me. Was ok except she talked for ever and I got tired. What ripped it was he cancer surgery when he husband called to say she was out of surgery, and was still asleep. She had a very distinctive voice and I clearly heard her tell him "Tell her 10 lesions" . I asked him again "shes still asleep?". He said yes. That was the end of that. I figure one day she will really get cancer, cause you don't play that way without paying the piper. My father did that, in order to keep me in line or what ever he was thinking, he would tell me he had stomach cancer, or brain cancer. In the end he died with cancer of the end(colon).

Nope, never had any online pals. And I'd be weary giving my number out to anyone I've met online. In fact I'm sure I wouldn't.

I talked on the phone a few times with a friend I met in my former forum. We also met for lunch a few years ago, and we talk almost daily by email, which we've done since we met a little over 3 years ago.

Not like I used to. Back in the 90's and early 00's, I used to exchange #'s with people online all the time, but now I don't do the chit chat thing as much.
