I don't know if this name will mean anything to anybody here. It's very strange, but I had never heard of this book until last year when I was checking out a couple of children's books on the history of vampires. This vampire story precedes Dracula by about 50 years and is over 1000 pages long, it was a 2 year long penny dreadful serial. It's noted for some inconsistencies but it all goes together. I got a copy in the mail today (from the UK no less), and it's not a very good copy, the reviewers on Amazon said it'll probably fall apart after the first reading, but for the time being, just to read the story, it'll do. Though how long it'll take me to get through this one I'm starting to wonder.
Has anybody read it?
