| When you mow the lawn do you bag it on the back of the mower or just let the clippings lay where they fall?
A long time ago we used a bagger on ours and that made it a lot harder to push around, but we haven't used one for over 10 years, but we never let the grass get big enough really that when you cut it it just lays around in big chunks either.

| It would be better for the lawn to let it recycle back into the soil. If you do bag, should find a spot and compost it - also puts those nutrients back in the soil.
I have done it both ways, but it is easier just to let it fall back thru the grass.

| I don't mow the lawn. However, I have before and have used both the riding lawn mower and the push lawn mover. We did it the old fashioned, natural way. Let the clippings fall where they may, then rake it up later. | |

| Husband uses the bagger early in the season when it's real tall (NO opportunity for grass-mowing in this area for several months). After that we don't use the bagger. | |

| We had a push mower with a bag on it. I did not like it. It got full so fast. Now, we keep it cut so we don't even have to rake. Sometimes we do when it is the first cut of the year. | |

| Back when I used to have a lawn to mow I would usually use the bag. | |
