When you were a kid, were you a 'problem child?' If you generally weren't, do you recall ever going through a particular stage when you were more difficult for your parents to handle than usual?

Re: Were you a problem child?
No, I was not some JD. My stepbrother was, which is why he went into the Army before we graduated high school. (It was that or go to jail).
The only problems I gave my mother was not walking lockstep in the ideals of her cultural values. I dissented in school, took typing (girl class) instead of shop or mechanical drawing and did other weird non-boy stuff.

I didn't start being a problem until closer to my teen years, but even so on my worst day I was still better than most brats in existence.

Only at school. At home I was well behaved. I spent a lot of time sitting in the principals office, thankfully they didn't tell my grandmother.

Not really. Like a lot of girls, I probably went through phases were I thought I was grown and couldn't be easily told anything, but it didn't stick. My parents knew how to defuse those moods.
