Used to like Pizza Hut, but these past few years I've been liking them less and less. They are losing their luster and the taste has become either too flat or just too familiar. I know several local pizza joints that puts the Hut to shame. Getting back to the question: my perfect pizza has a thick crust, extra cheese, peperoni and Canadian bacon on it.

I don't hate it, but I rather zap it in the microwave for a while.

Ewww. To me "cold" pizza is depressing to eat because it's so flat.

Nah. Defeats the purpose. It doesn't look appetizing when the cheese on top looks all hard and bitter.

I'd rather not even eat pizza that's cold. Not really that big a fan of reheated pizza either. I like warm, fresh out the box pizza. It loses something once it loses its initial warmth and whatever that "something" is it never comes back.

Another question for you guys...is it less filling to you when it is cold or reheated vs. out of the box? It really is for me. Pizza just out of the box, I can eat two slices. Warmed up I eat about four! I have never understood the difference.

It's actually the opposite for me. Fresh out of the box, I can eat half of it. When it's cold or reheated, I'll have no more than 2 slices because the whole experience is just anticlimactic at that point. The toppings sit on top, the bread sits on the bottom. they don't mesh like they do when it's fresh out the box.

Sorry Robbie, but I practically detest cold, hard (almost rubbery) pizza. I need my slices warm, with the toppings melted/chewy.

It's so funny because when my brother and I were kids, we would eat cold, almost frozen, leftover pizza from the night before. I don't know why it never occurred to us to put it in the microwave but as little kids that was a real treat for us...of course we always only got pepperoni and I couldn't eat pepperoni hot because it was too spicy, so that would explain me eating it cold and out of the fridge/freezer but I don't know about my brother.

I put pizza in the micro sometimes and it comes out like rubber, in that case I would rather eat it cold.

Eh. I'll eat cold pizza, but I much prefer it be warmed. Don't really see why anybody wouldn't just put in the microwave for a minute and a half, as opposed to eating it cold.

Doesn't matter if it's fresh out of the box or leftover.....I can never eat more than 2 and a half slices at a time. Pizza fills me up quick.

IA. I tend to avoid heating up anything in the microwave that isn't made specifically FOR it. Otherwise it does get rubbery. Always reheat in the over, even if it takes 10-20 minutes. It will at least be similar to fresh.

Warmed up I can eat more too, because usually you're anticipating it more. It's like you KNOW it's there and have been prepared to chow down.

Are you a fan of store bought pizza? Frozen pizza in a box that has to be microwaved. For the most part I don't like it but I love Digiorno peperoni stuffed crust!

I like them. The best plain type is the Aldi pizza. Like that more than Tombstone or any others. Of course it is nothing like the Digiorno's and things like that, but if I am going to spend over $5 for a pizza it won't be frozen, so I never buy those.
