However, I realized a while back that both of them still have their disadvantages:
Summer:
Mosquitos
Chiggers
Wasps
Snakes
A garden that always has to be tended to, and weeded, and watered, and everything has to be picked when ready and the rotten ones have to be disposed of.
Excessive heat that makes it about impossible to even go outside when the sun is out.
Then you have winter, which has the disadvantages of:
Snow
Ice
black ice
Blizzards
The sun disappearing for days at a time
Always having to put on gloves, boots and a coat EVERY time to go out
Wet floors and socks and shoes as a result from dragging the snow in with you
Dry, cracked skin
Bad roads which result in a cut down on getting to the store
Between the two I still prefer summer, but, and I can't believe I'm actually saying this, I've had enough of summer for one year, and want to get through the fall, and then through a restful winter before resuming that again.
How about everyone else?
