The "everyone is racist" argument is one that racists people frequently use to cover up their stupidity. Or maybe it isn't stupidity, perhaps it's just being lazy in the thinking. It takes more mental effort to consider each person as an individual and go on a case by case basis. Not everyone has enough brain power to do it, but oh well....

As stated by someone else, everyone is a tad prejudiced, but a "racist" transcends that by volumes. We lean toward what we know, and that is not so bad, if we are not isolating others based on race.

It is too big of a generalization to claim that everybody is racist. That statement is too bold. I agree that most people have their prejudices. If prejudice is not refuted or enlightened, that can easily turn into bigotry or racism, but that is the ending result. It does not start there.

I haven't heard that everyone is a little racist but i have heard that everyone who is white is a racist, how do you guys feel about that?
