Do you believe that clinical depression can and/or should be treated without prescription drugs?

I think it depends on the individual. Some people can make it through without them but they should never be denied to anyone who needs them.

Depression can come in different forms and affect people differently. In some cases the help of drug would be good and in others simple counseling and guidance can help. There is no cookie cutter cure as far as I am concerned.

I read a very interesting article in a magazine I am subscribed to. It is the Scientific American MIND. It does have a lot good articles related to human behavior and issues. the articel was about depression and it was very good. In some cases depression is like a cold. You just let it run its course and you will be OK.

You have a great day.

I don't know enough about the topic because thankfully, I never had to learn.

ITA that it depends on the person and that treatment is, or should be, different for each person.
