Red's 'Yes' thread sort of prompted this. Do you get the impression that the people around you think that you're gullible? If the answer is no, then on the flip side, do people suspect that you're more difficult than you are, and avoid asking you for favors because of it?

I don't know about gullible, there are a lot of people who underestimate me severely; like they don't think I'm capable of knowing how to do some of the most basic things. 
I've found in time you get used to it. And that can be a good thing, my mother knew a man who always dressed in overalls and always seemed a little slow and everybody thought he was stupid, so they never bothered censoring anything when he was around, and he revealed that he knew a lot more than anybody ever knew because they thought he was too stupid to understand them, but he showed th em.

Yeah, underestimation. I think some people do. I kinda stay quiet sometimes, write or speak with bad grammar & incomplete sentences although I do know how to do it properly. But I think it makes you come across as pretentious as hell. I never correct people unless it's something that absolutely has to be right. If I understand what's being said, there's no point. So I guess there are some who might equate that with stupidity.

Some do, some don't. But people know that I don't say no often to favors so I am easy to ask. Not sure that directly falls under "gullible".

Yes, people underestimate my intelligence and think I'm gullible. I'm on the quiet side and, admittedly, I'm baby-faced, but I know what's going on and I know BS when I hear it. When a person gets to know me, they find I'm not as easily fooled as they suspected.
