I watched Lifetime's A Woman Scorned: the Betty Broderick Story....Decent movie, but upon reading about the true story, I see that the movie was one sided on how it all went down.

That woman needed some serious help & apparently did for a while before it all happened. I remember seeing the real Betty on Oprah several times. Was hoping for a youtube clip but no luck. Betty was batshit crazy but I still think all the adults played a part in the whole thing. Slinging gas on a fire is probably gonna flash back at you at some point. When someone that mentally unstable is pushed repeatedly the outcome isn't that shocking. Apparently Betty was denied parole last year which is for the best although she should probably be in a mental facility. And Meredith Baxter was just amazing as Betty.

Saw a DVD of Dorian Gray (2009). While written for the movie and Dorian's youth went into the early 20th Century, all the elements of Oscar Wilde's story were there.
Colin Firth was Lord Wotton and Ben Barnes was the ever youthful Dorian.
I was really smitten by the beautiful Barnes a perfect cast to play a man whose beauty seduced everyone (men and women alike). Yeah, I woulda been seduced by the bad boy and I'm sure Oscar woulda been too.
You may know him as the handsom Prince Caspian in the Narnia movies.

I absolutely loved it! And I agree. I don't understand the people who have called it porn, unless they just consider nudity & sex to automatically be porn. There was nothing gratuitous, just the human condition. You really couldn't help but feel for each one of these characters. This movie was so well done it's become one of my favorites overnight.
