And Love & Other Drugs. Just great in spots, lousy in other parts, and too much sex & nudity. Didn't need it.

Watched 2. Syriana, played it, didn't pay attention straight through. I wanted to see George Clooney, Matt Damon, Chris Cooper, but I don't think I would have been able to follow the plot.

The General from 1926 with Buster Keaton, GREAT movie, I loved it, lots of explosions, lots of his infamous stunts he could've been killed doing, LOVED it.

Re: What's the last movie you watched?
The Dilemma. Can't say I would watch this one just based on the trailer. Maybe if you're a fan of the actors in it.
For people who have seen it..
For people who have seen it..
- Spoiler:
- I thought the trailer lead people to believe the Winona Ryder character was a total bitch who was going to get her comeuppance for cheating on this really great guy. But it wasn't true for either of them. I felt sympathy for her. I understood why she cheated. And the Kevin James character wasn't a great guy. Obviously he wasn't evil, but going out once a week & paying to be jacked off while cutting his wife off completely for 6 months doesn't make him a wonderful husband either. I honestly didn't blame her. And when the Vince Vaughn character found out the details he probably should have butted out. Maybe he could have encouraged they get some counseling but he should have otherwise stayed out of it. As if that wasn't enough they throw in the pointless "I fucked your wife before you met her & before we even met" thing. This is not one I would watch again & might not have watched at all if I'd had any idea.

I can never get too much of Jake Gyllenhaal nude.DanaShelbyChancey wrote:...And Love & Other Drugs. Just great in spots, lousy in other parts, and too much sex & nudity. Didn't need it.
Martian Child was my latest very enjoyable flick. John Cusack was really good in it, as well as the 8-year-old boy. I saw it in theater 2007. Wasn't aware that it was based on an actual event.

Re: What's the last movie you watched?
I was thinking of you while I watched, Shale!! I like Jake, but it wasn't just him, there was too much of Anne Hathaway too. I got it, they had great sex. They kept making sure I didn't forget.
Some scenes were great, others were just awful. Jake's brother was unnecessary and just horrible, like he lost his way from a teen make-out flick.

The Andromeda Strain, the 1971 original...creepy as hell, and suspenseful as hell at the end.

Re: What's the last movie you watched?
It' Kind of a Funny Story.
I wanted to see this in theater last year but missed it. It was a nice story about a kid (Keir Gilchrist) who goes into a psych ward because he feels suicidal. He meets another patient (Zach Galifianakis) who gives him insight and a suicidal girl (Emma Roberts) who naturally excites his adolescent impulses.
Having worked in a psych hospital, the interactions of patients was not that far off from reality. Just because they are strugling with psych probs does not diminish their humanity, humor and wisdom.
I liked the movie.

Braveheart - 1995
Srsly, I had never seen this movie yet. Learned that the first Prince of Wales, Edward II was gay. (I thot it was one of Mel Gibson's little religious jabs but the sketchy historical indications are that he was a flaming sodomite who was eventually exiled by his wife)

Mars Attacks - Every actor in Hollywood in 1996 did a cameo in that movie.
Earlier today I saw Beginners in theater. Really liked it.

The DVD for The Eagle had scenes not in the Theater version.
