What do you think about kids being tracked with GPS (via microscopic implants) as a way combating abduction? Would you be for or against this?

    Against. That's just... wrong.

Maybe a wrist bracelet for children when they first go to school, but anything beyond that it sketchy.

    Nay to chip implants.

I think the whole implant idea is just stupid...besides, what if the person who kidnaps them is somebody who WORKS for the GPS company and knows how to remove them? That's something they never bring up. And for another thing, suppose the entire family would have to go into Witness Protection someday? They'd all have to disappear off the map, would they get the implant taken out before turning tail or would the kid always be traceable through that?

Since I'm not 'implanting' anything into my kid, I think it's ridiculous. Be a parent and keep tabs on your child. I assure you it's much more foolproof.

Some might call that kind of technology innovative, but I call it lazy parenting. If a parent kept realistic tabs on their child, they wouldn't need such a thing.
