Have you changed your phone # to avoid someone calling you again?

No. The only time my number's been changed is when we've moved.

When I was little I remember someone played on our phone and finally my parents got the number changed. But shortly after that came caller ID and call blocking. I welcome someone to play on my phone, because I got an uncle that's a cop so they will be handled.

Never needed to change my number - and I don't have caller ID or blocking. Had the same # since 1996 when we moved back to Miami Beach.

I don't give my # out to ppl whom I suspect do not have knowledge of old phone courtesy (NEVER call after 10 p.m. or before 9 a.m.)

To them I give my cell # and tell them I will turn the cell on when I expect they need to call me.

I've had the landline number changed once (and, yes, I still have it; easier to screen calls and I never carry my cell around at home, ever). Too many "calls" from fax machines and it droves us nuts.
