No not really. Other than restrictions and whoopins, the only other punishment I remember my parents making me do was clean up.

Nope, grounding, restrictions, and getting the belt were pretty much it.

My dad spanked me, my mom stood me in the 'corner', which was the side of the fridge, and one time they tried no TV for a day because I mouthed off but that was the LEAST effective of them all.

Aside from typical punishments you first described, I call recall them occasionally making me stand in the corner. A lot of people scoff at that, but it's actually a quite a bit humiliating for a kid.

My parents didn't, but WE did. And, honestly, no one form of punishment worked. But on a number of times it took a spanking when all else failed.

I don't know about creative but I remember once my parents taking it to "school" and making me write hundreds of times "I won't do this again"....or something like that.
